Bishop Todd Atkinson was raised in the Canadian prairies. He came to faith in Christ as a teenager and moved to the United Kingdom at age 18 to train with a British evangelist. At 25 he began studies in theology and philosophy at Oxford University. Upon completing these he became the president of a small theological college in Canada, which he led until the Lord called him and his wife, Cheri, to serve as missionaries to Scotland. On the Eve of the Ascension, 2012 +Todd was consecrated a bishop by Anglican bishops from the U.S. and a church planting movement called Via Apostolica was born.
